Alice stands for my childhood, or therefore lack of. My mother made me an Alice in Wonderland costume for a book week in year four and that’s the most bonding we’ve ever done.

Sometimes we grow up and forget the past, but my childhood or therefore lack is the reason I’ve grown into the person I am today and in the end I’m thankful.

This is my 26th tattoo, and this, like many others, has a personal meaning to me.
I’m FtM (Female to Male, pre-everything).
The big skeleton represents me as an adult (although I’m not that tall, hah!), and the tiny one beside it represents the child I was; growing up and knowing what I was and what I am now becoming - and also the inner child in me.
